European Economics Preview: U.K. Industrial Output Data Due

Industrial production from the U.K. and quarterly national accounts from euro area are the major reports due on Tuesday.

At 2.30 am ET, Bank of France is scheduled to release business sentiment survey results. The business confidence index is seen unchanged at 99 in November.

At 2.45 am ET, the French trade data for October is due. The trade deficit totaled EUR 3.38 billion in September.

At 3.00 am ET, unemployment from the Czech Republic and consumer prices and industrial output from Hungary are due. The Czech jobless rate is forecast to stay at 5.9 percent in November.

Hungary’s inflation is expected to rise to 0.7 percent in November from 0.1 percent in October.

In the meantime, Turkey’s industrial output figures are due. Economists forecast production to fall 0.6 percent on a monthly basis in October after staying flat in September.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics is slated to publish U.K. industrial production figures. Economists forecast output to grow 0.1 percent month-on-month in October, reversing a 0.2 percent drop in September.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat publishes second estimate for Eurozone GDP data. The statistical office is set to confirm a 0.3 percent sequential growth for the third quarter.
