Finland’s retail sales climbed as initially estimated in November, final data from Statistics Finland showed Thursday.
Retail sales value rose 1.2 percent year-over-year in November, in line with the flash data published on December 23.
It was the first increase in four months. In October, sales had fallen 1.9 percent, which was revised from a 2.6 percent drop reported earlier.
Sales in department stores grew 1.8 percent annually in November, while sales of daily consumer goods went down by 0.1 percent.
Data also showed that wholesale trade declined at a slower pace of 2.3 percent in November from a year ago, following a 8.5 percent sharp fall in the preceding month.
