Global superstar Justin Bieber‘s brand new single, “What Do You Mean” took over the #1 spot at iTunes today within nanoseconds of its global release at 7:00 a.m. (ET) across all retail platforms.  The single is playing on iHeart radio’s 800+ stations across the U.S. every hour on the hour today. The arrival of “What Do You Mean” caps a hugely successful viral 30 day Instagram countdown and Twitter lyric reveal campaign, garnering over a 100 million impressions.

Justin‘s performance this Sunday night at the 32nd annual MTV VMAs spectacular will kick off a long-range, multi-tiered media campaign in support of “What Do You Mean”. Next Wednesday night, September 2nd, Justin will appear on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.  That will be the prelude to his week-long takeover of NBC’s The Today Show starting Monday, September 7th, climaxing with live perform­ances on Thursday and Friday, September 10-11th.
